Once again an opportunity came up that was tooooooo good to turn down. An opportunity to literally move up in the world …. Two floors up in the building giving us natural light, plants, the best possible neighbours in Christope, Dingo and Dave … Result.
The new studio setup was a very quick change over breaking down one studio and transporting it all up the two flights of stairs in the correct order to reassemble in the new room. The only moment of panic occurred when Ben got trapped under the shelving unit trapped in the door frame with Alasdair laughing so much, he had no strength to lift the unit to release the prisoner.
Studio moved, wired the next day, we then made our own acoustic treatment and redesigned the layout slightly wiring the guitar amps into the patchbay allowing instant access to guitar tracking. Score!
